McKay Bay Nature Park (5.7 Miles) bike trails among 38 acres Tampa, FL includes a .17 mile boardwalk trail through mangroves and mudflats. Located on the east side of 34th Street and north of the 22nd Street Causeway.

Upper Tampa Bay Trail (8.3 Miles) is a paved, multi-use trail located just off Memorial Hwy. in northwest Hillsborough County. It runs along Channel A canal and crosses underneath both the Linebaugh Avenue bridge and the CSX railroad tracks then wraps around the old Northwest Transfer Station landfill. It then follows an abandoned railroad corridor north along the Veterans Expressway.

Bayshore Boulevard Linear Park (3.0 Miles) is a paved bike path in South Tampa along Bayshore Boulevard with scenic, unobstructed views of Tamp Bay. The 4.5-mile-long sidewalk is 10 feet wide and is frequented by walkers, bicyclists, runners, and skaters alike.

Clearwater East-West Trail (13 Miles) a.k.a The Ream Wilson Clearwater Trail is a bicycling and pedestrian trail near the Gulf of Mexico at Clearwater Beach to areas near Tampa Bay at Safety Harbor. It connects the North-South trails, including the Pinellas Trail. Access points are located at the Long Center, Coachman Ridge Park, Cliff Stephens Park, the Eddie C. Moore Recreation Complex, Del Oro Park, and Cooper’s Bayou Park.

Courtney Campbell Causeway Trail (10.5 Miles) is a long, beautiful paved scenic trail over Tampa Bay, beginning at Cypress Point Park in Tampa and ending at Gulf to Bay Blvd. in Clearwater. It’s flat and stretches wide so there’s plenty of room for everyone, no matter what way they choose to move forward down the path.

Balm Boyette Scrub Preserve (24.6 Miles) in Lithia, FL is one of the best trails in the area for Mountain Biking, from beginner to advanced. The preserve features wooden banks that were constructed to enhance a great ride, and includes a series of stagnant pools, creating a natural habitat for a variety of Florida wildlife. Most roots and rocks have been removed by a local mountain biking group, SWAMP, who maintains the trails. Check out swampclub.org for more info.

Flatwoods Wilderness Park (18.1 Miles) Thonotosassa, FL This wilderness preserve with a 7-mile paved loop is great for young and old, whether you’re biking, skating, walking or running.

Alafia River State Park (24.6 Miles) is a Florida State Park located on County Road 39 in Lithia and is widely known for its extreme mountain biking trails. Riders come from all over to ride the collection of blood-pumping tracks. There are many trails with varying degrees of difficulty. Check out swampclub.org for more info.

Suncoast Trail (42 Miles) Lutz, FL This 42-mile paved trail stretches from Hillsborough County, through Pasco, and ending in Hernando County. There are eight different trailheads to access the trail from. Visit traillink.com to find out more.
